Only recently, the Israeli LAHAV Family Office acquired another retail property in the Aachener Kreuz business park, which is the third property on this location to add to LAHAV’s existing portfolio. The property is a commercial property dating from 1994, which was built on an area of just under 5,000 m². The rental space totals around 3,380 m².
A Hammer specialist store had been the anchor tenant of the property since 2016. Hammer recently moved out of the property, so the 2,800 m² space currently needs to be found a new use. In addition to the excellent location within a commercial area with strong retail occupancy, situated directly at the Aachen motorway intersection, the vacancy aspect was also decisive for the purchase of the property, as retail properties with a correspondingly large vacancy and the possibility of development and value enhancement fall into the purchasing focus of the LAHAV portfolio.
DRIA GmbH, which is exclusively commissioned by LAHAV with the purchase and subsequent asset management of real estate, is already in advanced rental negotiations for the vacant area of the property. The corresponding planning and execution of the necessary restructuring measures also fall within the scope of DRIA GmbH. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
