Homburg: New hotel building – DRIA GmbH successfully focuses on expansion

DRIA GmbH is successfully continuing its expansion course with the planning of a new hotel in Homburg. This project represents the company’s third hotel project and underlines its continuous growth strategy, which is underlined by a fourth project in the pipeline. A modern hotel with a gross floor area of approx. 3,312 m² will be built on a plot of around 3,708 m². The hotel will offer its guests a total of 102 comfortable rooms and 60 parking spaces.

The hotel is also well located in terms of infrastructure, with the building directly on the B423 and quick access to Saarbrücken city center, which is around 35 km away. B&B Hotels Germany GmbH has been secured as the leaseholder. The company will operate the hotel on the basis of a long-term contract and is known for its modern concept, making the project an attractive addition to the hotel offering in the region. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025. In addition to the B&B, a bakery and a medical center are to be built on the neighboring property, further underlining the quality of the location.

DRIA GmbH, which has focused in the past on the development of retail properties (full-range retailers, discounters and retail parks), is taking account of the fact that obtaining planning permission for retail properties has become increasingly unpredictable in terms of time by developing hotels in parallel.
Against this background, the additional development of hotels is much easier to calculate for the growth of DRIA GmbH and is thus becoming an integral part of the corporate strategy.
