GRR Group acquired a REWE market in Bad Frankenhausen (Thuringia) for the GRR German Retail Fund No.4

The GRR Group acquired a REWE supermarket in Bad Frankenhausen via an asset deal for the GRR German Retail Fund Nr.4. The transfer of the property took place on the 01.12.2021. Seller and developer is the Zehentner & Seidel group from Weimar. The parties decided not to disclose the purchase price. With this purchase the number of bought properties for the GRR German Retail Fund No.4 increases to 24.

The health resort Bad Frankenhausen is situated southerly of the Küffhäuser mountains in Thuringia. REWE had already been located in the city for a while and gets relocated now from the city center to the outskirts of town in direction Esperstedt, but still close to the residential area. The property is situated in a good traffic location at one of the main streets easterly from the city center and is perfectly reachable by car and public transport.

The significantly bigger new building was built as Green Building and certified by the DGNB-Gold-Standard. The object was built on a plot of app. 9.400 m² with 93 parking lots. Anchor tenant REWE has a rentable space of app. 2.500 m² with a sales area of app. 1.900 m².

DRIA GmbH from Heinsberg advised the GRR Group on this transaction. The technical Due Diligence was conducted by Schuster Real Estate Consultants from Ansbach. Furthermore the legal and fiscal assessment of the transaction for the buyer was conducted by the office CMS Hasche Sigle.
