Within this year, the LAHAV Family Office has acquired a 2nd property in Saxony-Anhalt’s city of Bernburg. In addition to a Hagebaumarkt, the shopping centre at Kalistraße 11 has also become part of the Israeli investor’s portfolio. The retail property comprises around 36,400 m² of lettable space with over 30 commercial units, which was built in the early 1990s on a site of just under 86,000 m².
The anchor tenant with around 12,000 m² of rental space is a Toom DIY store. In addition to Toom, a REWE supermarket, the furniture shop Roller, a Hammer specialist store and the Federal Employment Agency are the centre’s driving forces, with whom long-term rental agreements have been concluded. A relatively small part of the property is currently vacant and offers additional development potential. The buyer is Sloane Lime GmbH, a subsidiary of the Israeli LAHAV Family Office, for which DRIA exclusively performs all asset management activities in Germany. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
