Berlin: Dr. Rüger Group acquires retail centre via DRIA GmbH

The Cologne-based Dr. Rüger Group recently acquired a retail property in Berlin to its portfolio. The property is located in the centre of Berlin and has a total lettable area of around 2,350 m², which has been let to the two retail chains REWE and ALDI Nord since 2013. The surrounding area is predominantly residential with ideal public transport connections, making the shopping centre one of the city’s basic service providers.

The transaction and brokerage of the property was carried out by DRIA GmbH. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. René Gerdom, Managing Director of Dr.Rüger Holding, said: “We are very pleased to be able to expand our portfolio of Berlin retail properties with this strong and sustainable location”.
